Ebyan Rezgui- Matar

Ebyan Rezgui is a Tunisian-German flute player and producer based in London. In this project, the organic and the synthetic are blended together from the micro to the macro, exploring how melody as well as subtle artefacts can bring a song to life. In the record, we hear dark and electronic, but often folky sounds, rooted in the traditions of improvised music in the UK. 2022 sees his continued work on the solo project, focusing on collaborations with other instrumentalists. He also plays with London-based artists Thyrsis and Oscar Browne.
