Very excited to be bringing Joanne Robertson to London's LAYLOW. Joanne Robertson has become known for the lyrical drifting beauty of her music. The two solo albums she's released, The Lighter (Textile) and Black Moon Days (Feeding Tube), both been hailed as brilliant extensions of the avant-garde wing of the femme-folk tradition. But she is also a form-disrupter of the highest order, as she demonstrated early on with the Blood 'n Feather collective, in addition to collaborations with Tom Greenwood and Dean Blunt including ‘The Redeemer’ and ‘Black Metal’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4QklGpkHUU - Fran Lobo is a singer, songwriter, producer, choral composer and sound artist hailing from Edmonton in North East London. As a choral and music workshop leader, she has been commissioned to work with several prestigious London choirs including conducting the choir for Floating Points‘ sold-out album launch and arranging pieces of original music for all female Deep Throat Choir and LIPS choir in London. She has led 'Some Voices', London's biggest choir amongst many others, but always with an emphasis on building community and focusing on creating positive change especially with challenging groups. She has also worked with The Roundhouse Choir on shows at The Royal Albert Hall for the Folk Awards and the BBC Proms. She has collaborated recently with Mathew Herbert and UNKLE's James Lavelle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1aHuEx4yFg Lucaufer Lucaufer is an ambient musician and composer from London, having releases on acclaimed label Tobago Tracks and featuring as part of the Slow Dance '17 compilation, she blends the classical and avant-garde to create deeply personal soundscapes. She was picked up by DJ Mag as one of their fresh finds in 2018 and has gone on to perform at Cafe Oto and recently at Dizonord in Paris. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL7g5hCSt4g GG Skips & Kit Mosely GG Skips is a London based producer, artist and label head and Kit Mosely is an esteemed guitarist and songwriter.
